I was born in November 1962 in a small village in south yorkshire. I moved to East Yorkshire about 20 years ago with my wife and our four girls. I think i have been in touch with this subject in one way or another most of my life and may one day write about some of the things that have happened. It was the Sledmere sighting that prompted me to create the ILF web site.

Early in 2009 i decided with no pre planning that i wanted to try and paint a picture, i have no idea why as i have never attempted such a thing ever. From that first painting i could not stop and now have paintings all over our home. After my first 3 paintings it was suggested that i show them to someone with an experienced eye. This i did. I emailed images of a few paintings to the staff at Gallery 49 in bridlington.  Gallery 49 is considered one of the best in the area. I will not go into names of artists. I was asked to paint 2 water colours which i did and they were happy to place them in the studio.
