Flambrough ufo sighting 12.5.12
First Aware of object as I approached the sharp bend just before the Industrial Units after passing the Flamborough Boundary Marker, with campsite behind wooded trees to the left of the Units and behind them,I got a very clear view of a red orb like UFo,(bigger than I had experienced in March 2007 near The Honey Pot Inn,near Speeton)and slightly horizontally oval(not a perfect round). It was in the sky above the treeline and it appeared to materialise out of thin air with an intense red glow and expand in size with a thin mid-blue edge to it as I looked at it.It then within a couple of seconds shot horizontally to the right over the rest of the tree line. The sky was light & clear with little cloud, just before dark was falling and so I was afforded a very clear view. Total sighting time was about 40 seconds. I am used to seeing the Flamborough Lighthouse flashing over this area in the distance and it wasn't anything like I have seen before on this stretch of road.Like Speeton it was the intensity of the red orb that almost stopped me in my tracks and the speed it moved to the right horizintally over the trees, that made me sure it was one of the Red Orbs we have been recording on Wolds & Headland. I could not hear any noise, but my car windows were up. There was little breeze either. It was a very pleasant night. I thought that I would try to get a better view of where I thouight it was heading towards Flamborough village direction so I sped off to get to the roundabout near the Post Office and drove down Marine Road towards North Landing, but could not see it on either side of the road.I turned round at the Caravan Park on the left, came back into the village, called at the Coop to get a couple of wine bottles then travelled back to near the Units & camp site. There was no sign of it.. I'd wished I had stayed at the Units area instead of anticipating a better view and effectively losing it.... Then I got back and informed Paul Sinclair that I had had a good sighting,in this area not very far from Danes Dyke of course..
An interesting sighting, i will be looking at the location in the next few days. The above image is of the exact location this object was seen.
An Old sighting sent to us 1.10.11
I have also seen some lights of a orange(ish) look but they was four on about a 45 degree angle although it was about five years ago i was reminded about it by a friend who was with me, At the time i had a farm near Ganstead and we had gone out in the car but stopped on the road to Skirlaught from Gangstead and we saw them for maybe 20 mins over towards the direction of Burton Constable they disappeared to return many miles away in the same formation but opposite angle (like a reflection). I know this was many years ago but on seeing your images it brought back the memories thanks and keep looking and reporting its very interesting and also unexplainable
Green Triangle 4.9.11
I received a phone call from a lady on Marton road bridlington, she began to tell me that only minutes before making the call to meshe was sat on the back step of her home having a cigarette. She says she looked up and right above her was a brightly lit white and green triangle shaped object. It was quite high in the sky but was still easy to see as a triangle. She then said it moved away at a speed faster than anything she had ever seen before. She dose not recall hearing any sound and the lights were not flashing but constant.
What is interesting is that in Scarborough on the same date a lady reported seeing a triangle to Joe Dormers Scarborough ufo Society? Joe will provide more information i am sure.
mysterious air..craft23.7.11
Over the last few days i have been given information about strange aerial objects out at sea over bridlington and flambrough head. Boats from Bridlington harbour are making the most of good fishing at the moment and bumper harvests of lobster are being landed. This means the boats are out 8 to 12 hours at a time.
I am told that something very very fast and silent is moving about over head. I have to say that the men who shared this with me believe it to be military. What ever this is though can be seen in one part of the sky at one moment then be at the other side the next. Silent? and fast, in fact much faster than the euro fighter that has also been seen more in the area. Though i have to say i am not trying to connect the fighter plane and this object at the same time. I will post a little more as and when i get the information. They have invited me out with them but i do not think i have the stomach for eight hours on a fishing boat. I have however offered them use of a camcorder in the hope that they may be able to film a little of what they are seeing.
Interesting accountCottingham East yorks
Hi Paul,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you - Attached is a (very poor) photo of one of several UFO's seen in daylight over Cottingham in April 2009
Unfortunately we had a computer virus and the pic attached is the only one I can now find on the computer hard drive.
Basically the white dot in the photo was one of (from memory) 6 - 8 similar objects in close proximity to each other, for the most part stationary but occasionally moving closer to each other - I don't know if you have any good photo editing software but through Binoculars the shapes were definitely silver metallic and the best way I can describe the shape would be a rounded base and a pointed top, if that makes sense? The black line across the bottom of the photo is the top of our roof which should give an indication as to how high in the sky these things were.
Height wise, we see a lot of commercial airliners and Military aircraft over Cottingham/ Hull and these were a bit higher than they normally are
We watched them for over an hour - We could see 3 at first then they were joined by others moving across the sky and they all congregated in one area where they remained for the best part of 45 minutes before moving away and out of sight.
I have looked at the photo and tried to do a few things with it but it ishard to change or get anything more from it. This however dose not changethe fact that something unexplained was seen.
Interesting account from Bempton 14.5.11
I had an interesting conversation whist working up at the Bempton nature reserve the other night.
I have in the past emailed the reserve on a few occasions to ask if anyone had reported seeing anything unusual but never received any feed back. I was told the reason could have been embarrassment and ridicule of openly talking aboutsuch things.
The job would take 4 to 5 hours and gave me a little time to ask about sightings of unusual objects that may have been seen from around the bird reserve.
Many of those orange light sightings out at sea had in fact been reported from those verycliff tops.
I was told that many people had come back from the cliffs and reported seeing something unusual that was had to explain in conventional terms.
The account that caught my attention though was of a fisherman who was a familiar figure passing through the reserve 2 to 3 times per week. I have his name and details but out of fairnessdo not think they should be posted here.
I personally know many of the guys who fish from the cliff tops around Bempton and flambrough and they are a hardy bunch, facing the north sea on a cold winter night alone on a cliff top is not for the faint hearted.
On this particular night the sky was clear and star filled.
"-----" turned off his night light after settling down to a few hours of fishing. He could see everything and work ok in the conditions without the need of light.
He noticed alightthat was moving in anunusual wayhigh in the heavens and watched it for a few moments.
Then in what was described as the blink of an eye the light was directly in front of him. He could not believe what he was seeing. The object/light illuminated him and the whole area around him became daylight for a few short moments.
The object shot away as quickly as it arrived leaving the man shocked and somewhat frightened.
It made no sound and moved faster than anything known to man.
After listening to this account i cannot help but think that what ever this object was, connected in some way with the witness's thought process as he puzzled to understand what he was lookingat.
This then leads me to my other theory thatbelieving really dose come before seeing in many instances. I have said this many times before, could this be the reason some people see ufos/light forms and otherscan look for a life time and see nothing.
If we are dealing with truly advanced intelligence then it is plausible that it may know or be able to predict our every move. And if as i believe we are not really of much importance to the advanced intelligence then it would be able to pick who it wanted to interact with. Sceptics who look for answers within the realms of our known understanding may in fact never see a ufo because the awareness to connect to such phenomena is not within them.
Light forms Woldgate 28.4.11
The intelligent light forms are just what the ilf web site says they are. Lights under some kind of control not know to main stream science. I have been observing these light forms on the East yorkshire wolds now for over hour years and they are just as much of an enigma now as they were the first time i saw them.
I sat at woldgateon the 28.4.11 at about 9pm, it is a location i have used many times over the years hoping to catch sight of the light forms. At 9.45pm i was not disappointed.
I left the vehicle and gazed out over the sea towards Bridlington and could also see the Flambrough light house sweeping the sky to my far left.
It is a lonely singular pursuit that i find myself entangled in and to an outsider reading this it may even appear sad. But the truth is these light forms are here and they seem to be aware of my presence. I cannot think of any other reason that i would see them with such regularity.
It was cold stood alone on the dark woldgate road and with that thought i decided to get back into the vehicle.
As i turned i looked up and there they were, Four dull amber lights in a row. I watched them for a few seconds taken by surprise, they had been behind me all the time. How long i could not say but within 10 seconds of me seeing them they simply switched off.
I started the engine and went home just as puzzled as i was the first time i saw them.
As usual they were silent and stationary. Their colour is a mix of white/yellow to orange, and let me makesayright now that after four years watching and filming these objects i am not misidentifying them with conventional aircraft.
I can say without doubt that military aircraft do appear after the light forms have show but they always seem to be one step in front.
Most times it is the same with cars, these roads on the wolds are very remote and mostly single track which means most of the time i can see a car coming miles in advance. What is most interesting is that the light forms know this also and simply switch off when head lights appear? This is an awareness and however hard this may be to comprehend it is also intelligence of some kind.
Interesting Sighting 27.4.11
Helicopters over Driffield tonight (27th April 2011) circling for 1.5-2hours (22:30-00:00) over the barracks and Auchinlek close. 30mins before they went did anyone else see the large white light in the sky? It got brighter and larger (looked almost stationary) then moved off slowly to the North and faded away to a grey dot before vanishing. Did not look to be like any satellite I've seen before and it appeared much higher than the helicopters and had no other lights.
Red Objects bridlington 28.1.11
A man knocked at my door on friday afternoon 28.1.11.
I greeted him with the usual hello, how can i help you sort of response.
His reply was "I left a message on your phone, i have finally seen one"
Mick went on to describe what he had seenonthe tuesday afternoon of the 25.1.11.
He was in his back garden looking over towards the Scarborough road area when he noticed a red light stationary on the sky. He says it was not very bright and seemed quite low [i need to speak with him more about this]
A few moments later he saw another one moving from the left and slightly below the stationary one. When the too were in line the lower one moved up and merged with the other. Then as one the object went straight up into the heavens.
He says that they were unlike anything he had seen before and that they seemed to wobble in the air like jelly as he watched them, his words not mine.
I will add more to this report in the next few days
Black UFO sighting 20.12.10
Object seen low over A166
I am hoping the person who sent me this information gets back in touch. I have replied with a few questions that may help add to the sighting.
The object was sighted at about 530pm by a lady on her way home from work. She was surprised to see a black shiney disc (reflecting the moonlight) about 20-30 metres above her car as she drove slowlyalong the snow and ice coveredroad towards Fridaythorpe from Garrowby Hill. She commented that alot of the traffic had slowed around this point but there was a police patrol car further ahead with blue lights flashing, so that part could be coincidence. However she is convinced about what she saw.It sounds astonishing. More info please as this sighting is what ILFUFO is all about.

The Osgodby Sighting 7th November 2010
As many people will have read in the tabloid newspapers, a UFO was seen and filmed on 7th November around 4.50 pm. Three objects were in fact seen, all morphing in and out of a semi-translucent state. What interests me more is the fact that they were all seen within a mile as the crow flies of RAF Staxton Wold. This is the oldest operational radar station in the world.
I would think that these objects that were seen in such close proximity to the radar station should have been of immense interest.
I can vouch for the footage being 100% genuine and not tampered with in any way. My reason for saying this is that I have seen the original footage, as it was my daughter and son-in-law who filmed them. My daughter and her husband had taken their young son to the sea front in Scarborough. Living in Cayton, the route home was through Osgodby. They say that as soon as they turned off the new Scarborough road they could see the strange objects in the sky, which looked translucent in parts. The accompanying picture is from the first location that they stopped to view them. It is ironic that the week before I stopped at exactly the same place to take pictures of the sky over Staxton Wold. My son-in-law says that by the time they had pulled over, other cars were doing the same and people were taking pictures. It is not clear if any more footage was taken (time will tell) but this sighting was not anything ordinary. They both say that there seemed to be more to the objects than what the eye could see, if that makes sense; it was as though a cloak or veil was hiding the rest. These are only observations but they are first-hand and that is all we have to work with at this time.
I have been to the location of these sightings on three consecutive evenings since my son-in-law filmed these objects. And I have spoken to them both at length about all the possible explanations as to what they could have been. Starlings have been mentioned on various UFO discussion forums. That was one of the main reasons for going back to the location for one hour before the sightings and an hour or so afterwards. If they were the culprits I would expect to have seen them on each occasion as they gathered to roost. We saw nothing to suggest this.
My daughter and son-in-law saw these objects and this is the closest I have ever got to a first-hand multiple-witness account. Knowing them both as I do, I trust what they are telling me. In truth, he is a total sceptic andI am quite surprised how much this has affected him. They assure me they are not birds.
As I said before, the location is within one mile of RAF Staxton Wold and can be easily seen from where they were filmed, which makes the sighting a little more interesting. We don't have an explanation for the sightings. I have phoned all parties that maybe able to shed light but found nothing of any help.
Luke, my son-in-law, says the closest he can get to describe the objects are that they were like giant smoke rings but at the same time saying they were not smoke rings. Does not make sense, I know, but tell me about a UFO sighting that does.
This footage is of great importance and the sceptic / debunker will struggle to find a reasonable explanation that will fit into Joe Public's mind set.
If anyone else saw this on 7th November or around this date, please feel free to contact me. You are guaranteed discretion and you may be helping to solve the mystery.
It has now been suggested by a fewarmchair ufo experts that the sighting was indeed starlings.
It has to be noted that starlings are very vocal birds especially in the evening when they flockon mass in a display called murmuration before roosting.
These objects were silent, can birds be heard on the footage?
So far i have not found any evidence of large numbers of starlings gathering at dusk in that area to produce the mumurationeffect.
And i do know too people who live close enough to have observed this.
My daughter and her husband luke, the people who filmed the strange objects in the sky on November the 7th. The same people who say they were not birds.
None of the above is in anyway meant to suggest that an earthly explanation cannot be found, in most cases explanations for these things are found.
If it were simply starlings we could have replicated themumuration effect on the days after the sighting when we visited the location looking for answer's. In fact anyone wanting to do this could do so now and fully put the story to rest.
Osgodby sighting report by Joe Domer
It was about 4.50 pm and dusk.A man and his wife were driving along the Filey Road from Scarborough town toward Osgodby on Sunday, 7th November, when they noticed something unusual in the sky. At first they take it to be a peculiar type of cloud. Then they realise that it is moving in the opposite direction to the clouds. They pull off onto the side of the road and the man takes a clip of it on his mobilephone / camera, struggling at first to get it 'stationary' and into focus. On the clip it looks like a comet with a tail. It seems to the man as if it is changing shape, and he suggests at one point that it looks like a sea-horse, but his wife suggests itis 'turning' i.e.merely changedits orientation so that the topcannot now be seen. Then they notice a second object and film that.It isanintriguing bit of footage. It looks almost the classic flying saucer shape. There is a lamp post in the foreground behind which the disk-shaped object slowly moves.
Other people appeared to beinterested inthe objects. Another car had stopped and weretaking photographs of it.One nationalnewspaperclaimed to have phoned the local police and been told there weremultiple reports. However, June (SUFOS) phoned Scarborough Police Station and was told there had been no sightings reported around that time in that area.
The following evening, Monday 8th,three SUFOS members visited the site just before dusk and spent two hours in the lay-by where the witnesses had stopped to photograph the objects. They repeated the exercise on Wednesday 10th, when sky and weather conditions were very similar to the night of the sighting, but nothing was seen.
If anyone saw anything unusual in the sky around that time, please contact us. Neither of the witnesses have any idea what they saw.
Joe Domer has looked into the Scarbrough/Osgodby sighting in great detail and done more field work than anyoneon this since November the 7th. His conclusions are not final but they are as close as we are going to get at this stage.
I would agree with most of what he says but still consider the fact that the object/phenomena was travelling in theopposite direction to the clouds. The lady who contacted Joe also says the object was moving in a different direction to the clouds and that it changed direction. This for me is where the smoke from a factory chimney becomes a little hard to swallow [excuse the pun]
Sighting of sliver object 6.9.10
This report came to ILF at around 12pm on the same day.
Two elderly ladies were walking along the sea front in bridlington when they noticed the bright silver dustbin shaped object silently moving from the west and out to sea. They were a short distance from the Spar which is located directly on the sea front. They say it looked to be passing over the Spar very slowly.
There is a little more about this sighting but i have to respectconfidentiality due the position the witnesses have in the community.
UFO sighting from wetwang15.9.10
I went out for a cig at 12:15 and was stood in the back yard (in Wetwang) looking north. I casually noticed a light out of the corner of my eye to the left and thought it must be a street light, but when turned my head and looked properly noticed it was moving. It was going east towards Driffield and moving quite fast. It was like a ball of intense orange light, almost like a fireball, not solid but sort of sparklling brightly. It wasn't that high and from where i was stood it must have been approx moving over land towards Sledmere. I ran in and got my camera but it wouldn't focus in the dark.
I've never seen a plane that looks anything like this, and i can't remember hearing any sound. I can't see a chinese lantern moving so fast and with such purpose, and it wasn't windy last night. Must have been about twice the size of the normal planes you see coming over. It was in view for roughly a minute.
Regards, Danny
Silver UFO over Bridlington 11.9.10
I filmed this at 3.15 yesterday over Bridlington town - that is East Yorkshire in the UK. I have to apologize that it is shaky but it was a windy day and I stood in the middle of the garden.
The camcorder is a Sony VX2100 and they are not light. Whatever this is, it is also moving against the wind. I saw it a few minutes before, and have to say that regardless of its origins it is very big.
I have a zoom lens on the camera, so what you are seeing had traveled a considerable distance before I had the chance to film it.
I hope you find it interesting Paul
unusual sighting Bridlington
Today17/08/10 I was walking my dogs along the north promenade, just past the rides area with the waltzes etc. and I saw a orange light in the sky. I thought nothing of it, assuming it was a helicopter or plane etc. which soon disappeared, again, thinking it turned off its light. On my way back home again, getting to the same stretch of promenade I saw it again, this time it was much brighter and looked very close to the ground, it was the height most patrolling helicopters get, however it wasnt making any noise at all, which a helicopter would be at that height. At this point I checked the time and it was: 21:57
I walked on slowly, keeping an eye on it as it moved along, until It eventually stopped moving forwards and started getting dimmer, I realised it was rising high pretty fast. While ascending it started moving back the other way along the promenade again, this time in what looked like a small zigzag movement rather than going strait. I carried on following as it got very high into the atmosphere and was only a dim light in the sky, then after a short while of around 10-15 seconds of flickering in and out of sight it disappeared, replaced with what looked like a dark grey disk that looked like it was rapidly falling down to the ground, I ran down the promenade to try to keep it in sight but it disappeared past Alexandra Ct. However, whether it landed in that area or if it was some ways further past it I couldnt tell as it fell so rapidly out of the sky I couldnt keep up.
After losing track of it and finding no more evidence of it I eventually gave up and went home.
SoMilitary aircraft and silver ball
Hello, I've been in touch a couple of times before about odd things i've seen down here in the South Holderness region of East Yorkshire. Anyway, yesterday (10 August 2010) I heard a low flying jet (as I do most days). It was circling around directly above where i live (near Lelley, East Yorkshire). I grabbed my binoculars and watched it circling and looping for a couple of minutes. It was fairly high, but clearly visible through the binoculars. It was a blue sky, bright sunshine, with a few clouds dotted about. While tracking the jet I spotted what looked like a silver ball hovering, or moving quite slowly, at roughly the same kind of height. I could see it pretty well. It was catching the sun and glinting like a mirror. It seemed like the jet was flying around it. I watched it for about 30 seconds before I lost sight of it in the clouds. The jet circled a couple more times after that and flew off to the south. Pretty odd I thought, I've never seen anything like that before during the day. Hope it's of interest to you. Keep up the good work with the site. Cheers. Luke
White object Bridlington 23.7.10
View video footage
Whist sat in the garden enjoying the last of summer, watching jetstoo and fro from humberside airport i noticed this strange little circularobject moving through the sky. I focused on it for a few seconds then went indoors for the camcorder. I have to admit it did take a while to find it again so what you see in the footage is the very later part. I would estimate that the object was flying at around 25,000 feet and to be moving faster than a jet. It was moving amongst the clouds which i think were Cirrus and usually foundin high altitudes.
To the naked eye this object did look circular and bright white, although the weather condition that day may have illuminated the object slightly.
Object seen scarbrough North Yorkshire
sighting bright orange Ball ufo seen coming from South Westerly direction moving East over St James Road Scarborough at 23hours 10mins on 3rd July 2010. extreamly bright illuminated orange ball very beautiful, no sound and flying low. Other people must have seen it.. [could you please mail me again as for some reason the email you used bounced when i replied back to you.
At 11pm approx i also filmed too lights moving out to sea, these light were white. I did think the first light was the ISS but the second light made me think again. Is the above report connected to the sighting i had around the same time.
Black square seen24.6.10
Large dark coloured object reported over bridlington golf course south side at around 9.15am.
I am told that at first they thought it was some kind of kite as it appeared to be quite stationary as it wasviewed from the field opposite the golf course. It then began to move down the coast and was out of sight in around 2 mins. The weather was hot and still. Did anyone else see this?
Close encounter 2010 exact date unknown
Ufo leaves trace evidence Scarborough road bridlington. A bright green glowing object was sighted from the window on a house in the Scarborough road area. The witness watched to object for a short time from inside the house before phoning a friend who lived close by to come over to take a look.
Bye the time her friend and his son arrived the object had gone.
He was given a rough estimate of the area where the object was and went into the field to investigate. Using a flash light he searched the area ofland. I am told they found a small area of groundscorched.
Without warning the man and his son were caught in a bright light that suddenly came on from above. He switched off his torch and looked up. As he did this the light from above went out also. They could see nothing looking up into the night sky, unnerved they continued to search and once again switched on the light, seconds later the light from above illuminated them both, this was enough. The too of them hurried back to the house feeling very confused by the experience.
On going sightings Bridlington south side 10.5.10
Below is a small section from email and correspondence i am having with a guy living on the south side of bridlington who has in the past few months observed ufos both day and night above hishome. I hope to do a detailed report on his sightings very soon. The images below are of one of the objects seen by this man. They may look strange but it would not be ufo if they made sence to the human eye.
Ah that sounds interesting.. so maybe they have some connection to the jets? Paul i have attached the vid to this one you can see the trail but not the craft but i swear (and i saw it through binos) its a square craft, i saw it silently above my street and i went out to chase it and caught up with it over the back fields behind rudston there were two! going separate directions,it was more obvious than the 'pool ball' that you told me about but looked similar, material and lights.Id be interested in seeing your footage of the things that came from the clouds.Im surprised that iv even spotted anything since being interested.. doesn't help though people still don't want to know.
More Balls of light Withernsea17.4.10
At around 9:45 pm tonight (17/04/2010)I was travelling on the road between Roos and Burton Pidsea near Withernsea when I saw two bright orange balls of light in the sky. The moon was directly in front of me and to the left of the moon were two orange balls of light. They were on the same trajectory travelling to the left. The one farthest to the left was travelling slowish but the second one was travelling much faster and caught the first one up. They seemed to merge and only one ball of light was then visible. I visually tracked it as it arced across the sky continuing to travel to my left on a heading that would take it out to sea around Tunstall. I glanced back to where I had first noticed them and there was another ball of orange light. I looked back to find the first one but it had disappeared. I kept watching the second ball. This took a different trajectory to the first, and after one minute or so just vanished. It couldn't have been aircraft as the first manoeuvres where they merged would have been dangerous but more importantly, all aircraft are grounded at the moment. I initially thought it might be helicopters because of the oil rigs but the light was too large, it was round and it didn't flash. I turned off my motorcycle engine and I couldn't hear any noise. This was a very odd experience. As soon as I got home I Googled it and can see that there are many reports of glowing orange balls of light in the sky, but I haven't been able to find any explanations, do you have any thoughts on what I saw?
Another sighting Bridlington town 9.4.10
Orange ufo seen moving through sky, st Johns avenue area around 7.30pm approx
Another sighting Bridlington town 9.4.10
A bright perfectly round orange ball of light seen over hilderthorpe road friday 9th
The witness says the object was moving slowly through the sky in a north westerly direction. He is confident that it was not a Chinese lantern as he himself has released them in the past and says he knows the tell tail signs. He thinks the object was below 500ft time between 7 and 8pm
Once again it will be interesting to hear if any other reports come in for this date and location.
Interesting sighting Bridlington town 28.3.10
Here is a sighting of my own, the moon was high in the sky and it was a bright night with light cloud.
I decided to set up the camera in my back garden and spent a few minutes adjusting the settings to suit the light conditions then turned it off.
The wind was blowing off the sea East to West and was moderate. At about 8.30 i saw a very fast moving orange light low in the sky, i would estimate 500 feet. I quickly flicked the cam into action and swungaround into direction of the object. I could see nothing, i reached round to feel if i had left the lens cap on but i had not. Everything was black. The whole sequence of events was over in 15 secondsand i have to say it has got me beat. I am used to using the camcorder in all conditions and operate it with ease in darkness.
Without turning the camera off i removed it from the tripod and had a second look at the sky. Everything was as i had set it up earlier in the evening?
I don't think the object was a chines lantern as it was moving out towards the sea against the wind and was very fast.
Maybe someone else saw this and can offer an explanation.
Another UFO? 10.3.2010
I think i may have another ufo sighting over Bridlington, at least i cant find an explanation, thought maybe you may have heard of such things.
Wed 10th March 17:00.. I was listening to the low rumbling planes and trying to spot them from my window with binoculars, after they passed i noticed some classic chemtrails. When i looked at them through binos an object came drifting past the view and appeared to be a black disk/saucer that was going the same speed as a normal plane and it was rotating, but not in a typical circular motion but like folding over itself and twisting, it was definately solid and had a pattern to its rotation as there was a green and red flashing light, one at each end of the object.
I quickly drew a picture of what i saw to try and represent its movement.(will upload asap)
I could not see this object with my naked eye and lost it a couple of times, it appeared to move south then off east behind cloud cover. I have no idea how far away it was but it was in front of some of the little clouds that were about.. id say it was quite large and not paper or anything like that.. I dont think it was a dustbin lid as it had flashing lights, i dont think it was a balloon as it wasnt distorting or moving erratically.
Could have been a toy but i have never seen one like that, it didnt look particulary fun. I maybe just mistaking somehting so ordinary but i like to think im good at telling what things are and i cannot with this one.
I wonder has anything similar been reported ever?
Thankyou for your time .
Well done spotting that, this is not the first time we have been contacted about an object that moved in a tumbling motion. I have not managed to film anything like this. I was told about one similar last year and the best the person could describe it was that it resembled a pool ball rolling through the sky.
Thanks for the report, keep me posted if you managed to see this object again.

Huge Dark ufo Flambrough south landing 3.3.2010
When i was first given this ufo report i had to think long and hard about weather or not to place it on the web site. But despite its somewhat fantastic nature i feel it has to be put out. knowing the man who told me about the sighting very well i trust what he is telling me to be the truth as it was told to him.
Sometime duringwednesday evening Peter says he got up to answer the door. Stood in front of him was a somewhat nervous man who he says he had never seen before in his life. He said the man seemed a little jittery.
The stranger brieflytalking about someone from Flambrough whoas it turned out was a mutual friend of them both. He went on to say that there mutual friend had told him to come and speak to peter about what he saw from the cliffsoff Flambrough south landing.
The man went on to tell him that the previous day 3.3.2010 he was walking his dog along the cliff top at duskwhen he became aware of the sound of water running, not the waves breaking on the shore below i have to add.
It was more like someone using a hose pipe. Puzzled he looked around and suddenly became aware of a huge dark object lifting out of the sea. He says it was not lit up in any way but was enormous.
I am assuming the hose pipe sound was the water running off this object.
The whole sequence of events lasted about 5mins.
I am hoping to find out more about this alleged sighting, to me it sounds like something straight out of a science fiction film. Nevertheless it has to be posted as it may well prompt someone else from the area to come forwards to confirm what i have been told.
Me and Steve spent time at south landing 4.3.2010 we saw nothing .unusual but theplace is so dark and remote that anything could happen in that location and know one would ever know.
Four orange lights out at sea 27.1.2010
Did anybody see the orange lights today 27th Jan out to sea from south side around 7pm? there was a row of 3 and then another on its own to the right they all appeared and then faded they looked like balls of fire, didnt look like flares, was weird anyway. any explanations.
2nd short message
ok well the time was roughly 7.10 (i was on the phone at the time) no sound heard was close to brid harbour area but more out to sea. Their size as that of any typical orbs seen, they weren't huge but you could see they were sphereical im sorry thats all i have. Im considering going talking to some brids harbour fishermen see what they think.. Was very bizarre...
I have to say my first thought was lanterns. But it is interesting that the witness says they were in an organised row plus the fact that they were out to sea. We will have to wait and see if any other reports come in.
Bridlington. East Yorkshire
Date of Sighting: 31st Dec & 1st Jan 2010
Time: 11.50 until 12.27
Griffen Family
Witness Statement: Not lanterns. These lights lights were travelling at speed. Clear night sky, orange & red glow. silent travel. Suddenly changing direction against the wind and going west towards Harrogate/Leeds direction. Wave after wave in groups of 4-6 mostly. Straight line travel like aircraft. 35 minute spectacular.
This sighting is by far the most interesting to be reported in our area so far this year. ILFUFO would like to contact these people.
RED object over Bridlingtonroof tops 19.12.09
we received this somewhat vague report of a red object seen by three people walking along Flambrough road Bridlingtonaround 3.30pm They say the sky was very clear and still. They saw the half round object for about that seemed to be changing shape for30 seconds as it passed over the roof tops. The report has to be added as others may have seen this.
luminous white object filmed Blackburn avenue12.12.09 footage uploaed
The footage speaks for itself. The luminous white ufo is moving very slowly against the breeze. It was very high so itwas not possible to asses the objects size.I do not think anyone can confidently say this object is a balloon or a plane. We would however love to hear your theories as to what it might have been.
Interesting sighting Willy Howe 11.12.09
We where at Willy Howe on Friday flying and the silver object that we have come to call the dustbin passed to the east of us at about 500m four of us watched it for about 2 mins none of us could get any pics sun was to brightbut soon after it had gone two tornados chased it. The size of it is big about he size of a bus. No sounds just a cold feeling like a cold wind when our wind sock was still?
Once again interesting sightings around the area of Willy Howe
These 4 men were flying planes at the time and more than qualified to distinguish the difference between an aircraft and an oblong shaped metallic silver block the size of a bus.
Peter.
The fact that they all felt a cool breeze on there faces in most interesting when they say the wind sock was still. I wonder if others have experienced a similar sensation when viewing a ufoand not thought much of it. Not many people would be stood close to a wind sock to make that connection?
OBJECT FILMED FROM COTTOM 10.12.09
We managed to film 4 mins of this on thursday night

As usual we did our own field work and these frame captures are the result. We will up load the footage very soon. It appeared to be the same or very similar to the red object we filmed earlier this year. Udate footage added
Silver Object filmed 13.11.09

Interesting sighting Fridaythorpe East Yorkshire Wolds
Interesting sighting from two school teachers travelling home to bridlington from leeds on the 28.10.09 at about 12.30 am.
The witnesses went on to tell me that they were travelling back from leeds after a busy day shopping followed by a meal and a show.
They say they were on the straight section of road that leads from Fridaythorpe to another small village called wetwang. They both became aware of a small silver orb very low in the sky. Within seconds it began to grow in size. Weather it came closer or simply expanded is not known but in a very short space of time it went from a small orb to brilliantly lighting up a large section of the sky. It then rapidly contracted and vanished. From first seeing the object to its exit it took no longer than 20 seconds. No other traffic was on the road at the time but witnesses i feel have given me an accurate description of what they saw.
Once again we have evidence of strange activity on the Wolds.
Another interesting sighting 5.11.09
I live in Bridlington,On the East Coast, just lower down from Flambrough Head.
My wife was watching our new pup in the back garden when she called me to have a look.
It was approx the height of the police helicopter, when travelling.
At first it had a bright blue strobe underneath, a small light.
As it travelled toward us, in a dead straight, and not too hurried line, the strobe disappeared.
I lost sight of it as it passed over the roof.
On the 5th of Nov appprox 7.30-45 I was in the garden with the pup and saw the orb again travelling approx the same speed, but in the opposite direction, gestimate 1mile to the west.
When my wife and daughter arrived home that evening from her music class, she said that she and mum had seeen that orange light again, she said it seemed to come down from high, and travel toward the sea.
The funny thing about it all was how matter of factly, with no excitement we spoke of it.?
Unlike the first one I saw, now that was strange. It was a clear bright day
8.30 am travelling toward the town of Driffield, I had just reached a 1/2 mile flat on top of a hill going into a dip called ruston parva, when in the distance I saw a black equilatral triangle, more like a black hole, coming straight for me approx same height low flying raf jets fly, at a fast speed. I could guess fast because of how big it got in short space of time.
Then it swerved straight up, like a big elongated triangle, with 'v's cut out approx a third from the top....like a christmas tree. and disappeared.
Driving down the hill, I was shaken, I was actually asking myself if I had seen it, could I have seen a blind spot in my eye? ( was I a F** IN LOONEY)... no I did'nt see it..yees I did.
for 2 days.
I had never seen a discription like that!
A couple of days later I was watching a video which showed a mediaeval drawing of a sky full of ufo's black spots and crosses, at the bottom of the picture was the side view of my black sighting.
Witness Statement: The dog started barking as though someone was at the door. There was one there so I went out into the garden to have a look. Hovering in the sky was a bright orange ball. It started to move slowly then stopped for about 1 minute. It then moved away at quite a speed. If it was a chinese lantern then it had the power to hover, move, stop for a minute, then increase speed and fly away until it vanished in a matter of 30 seconds. I cannot say what it was but it was strange. It was a clear night and there was no sound from the object.
UFOS reported throughout may
Suspicious bright lights dotting the night sky above Bridlington and Flamborough throughout May drew curious members of the public to contact the Free Press in an attempt to get to the bottom of the strange events.
Alan Norrie, of Field Road, Bridlington, was one who witnessed the most recent example on Monday, May 25 of a large glowing light shining brightly before quickly disappearing.
He said: "I went into the kitchen and looked out of the window into the back garden and noticed there were a lot of stars in the sky.
"Then I saw a really bright light flashing and all of a sudden it moved.
"It looked like a really bright halogen light shining down. I shouted my wife to come and look at it, but she said it would just be the police helicopter. But it wasn't.
"There was no noise and it can't have been a plane either because they have flashing lights, but there were none whatsoever."
Mr Norrie contacted Paul Sinclair, of Blackburn Avenue, who has a website dedicated to such sightings.
He said there had been a number of recent sightings in the area.
The mysterious light was also witnessed by Maggie Masters and her daughter, Cindy, 16, who said they saw the light from their home in
St John's Avenue.
Mrs Masters said her daughter saw two strange objects in the sky, but only took notice after spotting the second one.
"We went outside to see and it was white and a gold colour inside.
"It looked like a police helicopter's search light, but it couldn't have been because it was so quiet, there was no noise
"Then all of a sudden it moved to the right and disappeared behind the houses.
"I used to scoff at things like this, but it was really strange."
More intriguing activity in the skies was captured by Nicole Sinclair, who photographed a red object above her home in Mount Crescent.
Nicole, 14, who witnessed the strange light, said she is convinced the light is a UFO and added she had sent the picture to Calendar News.
She said: "I saw lights that were red in colour and they were going really quickly across the sky.
"I looked out of our back garden and there were quite a lot and I think it was a UFO."
Further suspicions have been raised after a burning object with trailing jets of fire was apparently witnessed moving towards Scarborough from Flamborough Head earlier in May.
The Baines family, from Flamborough, watched it unfold through a telescope.
They told the Free Press: "A meteor would have moved much more quickly and a plane burning up would have plummeted to the earth presumably.
"It wasn't a sky lantern or anything light in weight because it was not moving erratically or slowly.
"The only thing we could think of was that it might be a piece of satellite burning up."
And a bright red object, described as being three times bigger than a star, and hovering below the clouds, was also spotted at the beginning of May out at sea towards Flamborough Head by a dog walker.
Very Large UFO Seen River Side, Driffield, East Yorkshire UK - 05-16-09
I had an interesting telephone conversation today 19.5.09 from a couple who both witnessed a UFO of huge size over Driffield on 16.5.09, Saturday night. They say the object, which was spherical, appeared low in the sky about 10.30 PM.
They think the location that it was hovering above was riverside close to the mast. I need to clarify what mast this is. The weather conditions were very wet and windy, and this object was steady.
It was deep red in colour, and appeared to be on fire within itself. My immediate thought was a Chinese lantern, but the couple dismissed that, saying it was of huge proportions. I next suggested a hot air balloon. They say it was nothing like a hot air balloon.
I have to say I find it hard to believe a hot air balloon would be in the air at 10.30 PM in those weather conditions. When they pulled up and got out of the car to get a better look, the object rose to cloud height, hovered a few seconds, then shot up vertically at incredible speed.
Its light could be seen flashing through the clouds. I have contacted the Driffield Times, but have not had a reply so far. It will be interesting to hear if any more sightings come to light. An object of this size must have been seen by others in the area.

Paul,
Bridlington - 05-25-09
Large halogen-sized lights seen hanging in sky by 4 separate witnesses, Monday 25 of May. Time 12.20am approx. Witness names and addresses are available to anyone wanting to question the credibility of this sighting.
It was a star filled night when Alan noticed the large, glowing, white ball of light from his kitchen window. He opened his back door and stood a few moments watching in amazement.
Moments later he shouted to his wife to come and look. Her first reaction was that it was the police helicopter with its search light on. Alan told me it was about the same size, except that this object was totally silent and quite close.
After a few minutes, the light moved to the right and gathered pace. He thinks its direction of travel would have been Scarborough Road area over to Grindale.
At the same time the object was being observed by a couple ,and their teenage daughter from the back garden of their home in St. Johns Avenue. Their description is the same, except they saw two large, silent lights.
I have contacted the local Bridlington free press and passed on the contact numbers. Whether the paper feels it is worthy of news remains to be seen. I did contact the Driffield paper about the sighting reported by a couple the previous week but they never followed up the story.
I feel that telling the plain facts as they are told to me is not enough.
Regards
Paul Sinclair
UFOS SEEN BRIDLINGTON 15.3.07
Bridlington free press 15/3/07-The paper printed eight separate reports of orange and red balls of light seen along East Yorkshire coast line. Some of the sightings were multiple witness. And they all claim the objects were silent able to move up and down and sideways . They say the balls of light moved in deferent directions to each other which would rule out Chinese lanterns or balloons as these would travel in a very similar line with the following wind.
So what are they?
UFOs seen over Bridlington 5/3/07
After a long talk with David Hinde on Sunday evening i came away feeling that his sightings still fitted comfortably into the category of UFO. David seemed very articulate and level headed and openly admitted to having no interest in ufo before this sighting. His journey from Malton to Bridlington was uneventful until he reached the dottrill public house. David used this as a reference point as it was from this location that he saw the lights.
They were quite high in the sky and red orange in colour. He estimated there size to be about twice as big as a star. They were not moving as a plane would and seemed to be able to move up and down and side ways. They were so unusual that he decided to pull over in a lay by and watch them. Using the road as a sort of guide he realized that they never moved from the right hand side of the road.
He also estimated that they were somewhere above the Honeypot pub. This public house is quite remote and off the beaten track. As interesting as the sighting was , after 10 to 15 mins [time now 1105PM] David reluctantly got back in his car to drive home. It was at this point something a little unusual happened. Spooky was David's words. As he started the engine and turned on the lights the red/orange light of the ufo went out.
At that point he felt a little uneasy. I did ask him if it was merely that the lights from the car had stopped him from seeing them. He said not, and that the sky that evening was very clear and bright. David continued to look for another minute or so and to his surprise they appeared again.
At this point David continued his journey home, his head full of what he had seen. And like the rest of us still looking for answerers to the puzzle.
ILF now has many sightings and reports of these orange/red spheres over Bridlington and they seem to be on the increase. I would like to here from anyone else who has seen them.
An unidentified seen hovering 2/3/07 over a field near Staithes on Monday night by a teenager returning home. Steven Dye (18) who lives in Staithes, says he saw the phenomenon, silently shining close to where he was driving towards the village from Boulby at around 8PM. He said: "I saw something floating in between Staithes and Hinderwell from where I was looking."
It had about eight lights, red and orange coloured and it just stayed in the same place for about 10 or 20 seconds before fading away. It is the first time I have seen something like that. I told my Mom and we went back down there later on but there was nothing there.
It is interesting to note that these sightings are within a few days of each other and along the same stretch of coast line. ILFUFO have reports of other people seeing these objects and fishermen off the coast of Bempton and Bridlington

Bridlington 27 july 2007
A fisherman says he saw a dark object that he said was a drone of some kind (his words not mine). Iit was travelling at great speed and was being pursued by 2 jet fighters.
The man went on to say the planes were screaming through the sky in an attempt to catch up with the object that vanished into the distance.
The conditions were overcast and the time was mid afternoon. If it is of interest I will speak to the man further. It is a first hand sighting and not the usual 'a friend of a friend told me he saw this thing.'
He had told me of sightings in the past. When I bumped into him we chatted and I asked the usual. Have you seen anything UFO related. To which he said no.
Then a few moments later he said I did see an odd black object the other day though being chased by 2 jet planes. I do need to follow this up more to get an idea of the objects shape and size etc.
It was a chance encounter in the street and not the place to question a man in detail. I am very confident about this sighting and I think could even get him to open up more.
