Object seen from Staxton wold
Huge object seen from staxton wold heading over towards sledmere 16.5.2013 Two people saw this from the office window of there home at the back of RAF staxton wold. They are very reliable and have been observing activity in the area now for over 9 years. They have cameras set up which sweep the area day and night and banks of recording equipment. What they saw ironically was not caught on film, however i do not doubt their word. At 11.46pm they observed two bright balls of white light stationary in the sky. The lights were low maybe only 50 ft above the road. They are convinced that the lights were in fact one object as they moved away in perfect form. They say what ever this was must have been over 80 ft long. Please understand that the people i am talking about log and document everything, in the years that they have been observing the objects they know they lay out of the land the time it would take a car to travel the route. And can easily tell if the object is in the air or on land in complete darkness.
Another interesting thing they told me was that a police car slowly travelled down the road at 11.56 with all its lights flashing.
At 11.56 nothing much moves in this area so why would a police car be there.
More triangle sightings in our area
On Saturday 6th April 2013 at about 11pm at night. My husband and
I were sitting in the Hot rub in Hull and both spotted in the night sky what we
thought was a triangle shaped aircraft that was 100% silent. It flew past like a
glider would, again it was triangle shaped abit like a stealth plane. I also
noticed two lines running down either side of the triangle but no lights.
ANOTHER WOLDS SIGHTING old but just reported to ilf
This happened around September time 2011,
I turned onto the A166, the road that spans from York to Bridlington. I was
heading towards York at this point.
Upon my turning right onto this road, I instantly noticed two lights travelling,
side by side at the same speed tracking parallel to my car, it was almost as if
it was the reflection on the glass.
I realized that this was not the case after maybe 8 to 10 seconds of keen
observation, the object's moved at a faster pace in the opposite direction (the
right, back the way I came) about a centimeter in distance from my perspective.
Both objects seemed to stop, these abnormally bright objects seemed to move in
akward little \"jerks\", then, out of noware, as if my mental reasoning to what
these where could take any more, The object of light to the left (I have shivers
writing this) darted diagonally to the left, then accelerated off to the left in
the opposite direction to the way they had initially started moving, Like a
backwards tick motion. It was a steady movement at first then bolting off at an
incredible pace to the likes of which I had never seen.
The other light (the only way to describe it) \"chased\" after it at the same
speed.
I was shocked to a state that I rang my mother who's house I had just left to
explain what I had just seen.
Being in the Royal Navy at the time, and having first hand knowledge of flight
observation, the movement of flight from jets at both high and low altitude and
fast moving air contacts, limitations and aircraft patterns of possible movment
and what they look like from a distance and up close in day and night.
I know that those \"lights\", moved as an actual solid craft due to their
displacement in time, from speed to acceleration. NOT a light on the clouds, my
windscreen, or a pieces of debris burning up in the atmosphere.
In my opinion, the pair of white bright lights at approximately 3 to 5 miles
awayfrom me in the sky that night where pushing, not only \"the envelope,\" but
unworldly speeds, that in my experience where well in the excess of mach 5, in a
matter of seconds.
The two objects travelled across the sky until my vision was blocked by horizon
tree line. It would of taken a fighter jet 15 seconds, if not more to get to
that point. They where there in maybe 4 or 5 seconds. The only thing i can think
of with that kind of accelerated speed was when i saw the 4.5 inch gun on a type
22 frigate, fire a round off for training purposes when i was within a mile from
it on a sister ship. Going on Eeinstiens, theory of relativity, its not possible
for something to look as if its travelling at the speed of a 4.5 inch round at 5
miles away, where talking thousands of relative MPH here.
I strung together an unsuccessful list of possible objects that move in this
manor, there isn't any.
Green object over York 6.3.13
I got a phone call tonight from a guy living in york who says he saw a green object high in the sky over York early evening. He saw this with another person and says he will post me footage of the object, i will put up images up soon as i get them

I have had a few bits of info come in about strange happenings around willy howe, anyone reading this who dose not know the place can find out more within this web site. I am sure people from around this area must have stories to tell about willy howe. Of all the places i have been and seen i have to say this is the one place that gives a person a shiver of the unknown.
So to the elderly man walking his dog 12.2.13. What you saw beside the burial mound is of great interest and ties in with many other accounts from around this area.
Triangle sighting 7,2.13
We went up onto the wolds Thursday night 7.2.13 and spent a few hours at cottam, it was a cold clear night and as usual me and Steve were upbeat about the chances of seeing the objects. There was quite a bit of aircraft activity and we could hear them as they moved about the sky. At around 9.15pm Steve pointed to an object moving over head, it was a triangle with white lights on each corner and a red light in the centre strobing from back to front. I filmed the triangle even though we thought at the time it was man made and still do. The unusual aspect of the sighting was that it was 100% silent. I will post some frame captures from the footage. The man made ufos are interesting and it is possible to seperate them from convention aircraft.. However the objects we call the wolds ufos in the true sence of the word are off the scale of our understanding.

Red object filmed over Flambrough head 27.10.12
just watched a very interesting piece of film of a red orb flying out over flambrough head and out to sea. It was filmed by Dean Dealtry last night,i will post more after i have spoken with him later today. I hope others reading this from the area may have seen something similar.The footage is a bit jumpy but that takes nothing away from it. It is 100% genuine

HI on saturday 22 9 2012 at around 11pm i was sat in caravan in
ulrome my wife asked me to close the veniten blinds which i did then sat down
continued to watch tele i sit the nearest to window we are 13ft from edge and
then a 25ft drop on to the beach i dont realy know what made me look at the
blinds but i did and i noticed through the fine slits in the blinds i could see
green lights big green lights i shouted what is that jumping to my feet i
parted the blinds with my 2 hands thus looking at about 40ft off the sea i was
looking at 4 big green lights no movement in them i couldnt see anythin else as
it was pitch black there was no sound of an engine noise but with in a second it
just dissapeared like switching the light off gone but im thinking they can
lissten in to our conversations i think we were watching barbra wren about our
bodys energy light and water the stars a realy good programe on showcase .
Spent last night on the wolds 9.8.12, nothing to be seen. Then i can go out into my back garden and see objects like this
The more i speak with people on and around the wolds, the more i am finding out that the objects have been seen in the sky and on the ground by many more people than the ILFUFO web site suggests. It is not my intention to expose anyone who shares information about the sightings. I never go out looking for publicity and never will, the subject and its pattern of high strangeness deserves better. If i used Octon as a starting point. The area i am working in would be a 25 mile 360% from that point. I do use information from farther afield but due to the high volume of sightings in this area i have no reason to look elsewhere at the moment.

STAXTON WOLD 12.4.12
On the 12.4.12 me and Steve decided to go and do a sky watch up on Staxton wold, he phoned me earlier in the day about this and suggested i contact Joe Domer. He said that if joe wanted we could pick him up and take him with us.
It turned out to be a day of odd coincidences. I phoned Joe and we confirmed a time ect then i got back in touch with steve to confirm this.
We had done a few sky watches over the last few weeks in this location, the first one was of note and needs to be added to ILF in so much as we went to look at the sky and found ourselves watching a small hedgerow and the ground below it for over two hours. Back to 12.4.12, Steve picked me up at around 7.15 pm and we headed out to Scarborough to pick up Joe, we arrived at his place around 7.45.
Before getting in the car joe said something strange had just happened and wanted to tell us. He says that just before we arrived June [his partner] had phone asking if he had been trying to contact her, at this point i have to say she was away visiting relatives. Joe said no he had not and she went on to tell him that she received a call from his number and when she answered a demonic voice was speaking to her. Weird or what?
We got into the car and proceeded to head towards staxton Wold, we arrived around 8.30pm approx. The conditions up on the wold were bleak that evening with low cloud cover and a cold bite in the air.For an hour or so we saw and experienced nothing of note then at around 9.00pm i noticed all the lights had gone out at the Radar Base a few minuets later they all came on again this happened on four separate occasions. There could be many explanations for this, a power cut, some kind of test to see if back up generators were all working correctly. Most likely one of them would fit although the one lamp visible on the road close to the base remained alight.
At around 9.30 i turned and looked towards lissit, i could clearly see the red lights of the wind turbines flashing in the distance, beyond that and to the left was the faint lights of Hornsey. To the right of lissit i could see the red warning light for low aircraft situated at octon. As you can imagine out area of view was immense.
From knowhere a huge explosion of turquoise light lite up the sky line and judging the amount of sky/land we could see it must have been two miles wide and at least a 1000 feet high. I was taken back by this and uttered some swear word that dose not need repeating here. Joe and steve turned and i immediately told them what i had just seen, seconds later it happened again and all three of us saw it this time. It was a jaw dropping sight and we are hoping we are not alone in seeing it.
The distance of the light from where we were stood i found hard to measure and will have to speak with Joe and Steve for there views but i feel it had to be over 20 miles away yet it was brilliant to watch.
The shape of the turquoise light was light a huge half egg shape on its side, steve described it as being like one of those large flat mushrooms. The air was absolutely still and silent. As Steve and Joe remarked afterwards the light was so brilliant yet it was brilliance within itself if that makes sense because the sky around it remained the same colour. This light had shape and edges. It is hard to explain as i have never see anything like it before in my life.
We watched hoping it might happen again but sadly it was not to be. At around 9.50 i noticed too lights in the sky behind the silouette of a large tree, they were orange/gold, i told the others and Steve fixed his binoculars onto them. There movements were odd, they were side by side and moving up and down indepenent of each other, for some reason i could not see them in the view finder of the camcorder. Joe could not see them at all? they remained in view for about 15 to 20 seconds then vanished. As Steve said immediately after, we have seen plains lanterns shooting stars helicopters and all manner of lights that can be explained but these two acted in a way that we can only describe as the Wolds Light forms. At around 11pm we decided to call it a night.

Lights over staxton 20.3.12
String of orange lights over staxton wold, i have too reports of this sighting from different areas of Scarborough. The sighting/reports came in on the same dayand the times match. One of the people wasviewing these lights through binoculars andsays she is sure they were all connected. More information to follow?
Due to the good work of joe domer another person has come forward with his own account of the abovesighting. heres the account taken from the [yourshire ufo society web site]Location of sighting: A64 GantonDate and time: 20th March at 7 pm
The witness was driving along the A64 toward Scarborough and was at Ganton when he saw an "elipitical ring of lights, orange in colour andpulsating, over Scarborough,accompanied by two single lights higher in altitude...[They]seemed to be moving fast."
In afollow-up email he gave the following description:
"The lights were chasing [sic] on and off as if some disco rope lights had been attached to an airship is the best way I could describe it. They were stationary and appeared twice at approx 1 min interval for approx 10 seconds. I also noticed two smaller orange lights at a higher altitude up and to the right, maybe over Staxton village. I was driving through Ganton towards Scarborough and the lights appeared to be some distance off over the approximate region of the fields near the Scarborough tip, but it was hard to comprehend the range.Others must have seen this. The road had quite a lot of traffic."
Great accounts from different locations. After these sightingsme and Steve Ashbrige have sincespent too nights up on Staxton wold observing the area. I have to say nothing of note was seen in the sky although on the first night which was march the 29th we did have an unusual experience that had us looking at the hedgerows close to where we were stood for over too hours. More to follow on this assuming steve wants to talk about it.

Witness Statement: Driving along the Malton Road in North Yorkshire towards Pickering, i looked to my left and saw 4 redy blue shapes in the sky towards Scarborough, these shapes then turned into 7 or 8 of the same discription, they then disappeared and reappeared again, could any one who saw these please leave comments, thank you.

Witness Statement: Shortly after 7pm, in the North Bay of Scarborough, UK on a beautiful crisp and clear night about 15 independent people witnessed what can only be described as UFOs (ie. 'unexplained' Flying Objects). From an 'initial' flash which appeared like a 6 light flare that ran along the sky in white/red colours and extremely bright(about 1mile out to sea) that appeared horizontally (flares do not appear horizontally!) The lights in the sky seemed to have 2 central brighter and larger lights which panned-out to form a straight line of light with 3 smaller lights either side (giving approx 6 lights in total). In the distance way above the horizon line was a permanent light which seemingly randomly changed green,red/orange,white stationary light in a non-sequential manner (no this wasn't a star/helicopter or aircraft). This light seemed stationary for at least 5+mins then disappeared, reappeared then 2 other smaller lights appeared at varying stages adjacent to the initial light. A 2nd horizontal light burst was witnessed by all there and active discussion was had along with attempts to see what the lights were through 2 x sets of binoculars. Several of the witnesses were local fishermen and one of them stated he seen one of the lights zip along the sky and abruptly halt, then seemed to disappear shortly before we arrived at just after 7pm. We all witnessed the lights start moving, stop moving, appear randomly, move in diagonal and at previously unobserved speeds for a 'known' aircraft. There was also no noise and we were in a bay with virtually zero wind so sound would have traveled and been observable. If this was a military aircraft exercise, it surpassed all expectations or knowledge of all those present who witnessed this event in terms of what military aircraft can do! It was a very eye-opening, interesting observation for all those who saw this 'strange/exciting' spectacle.

On march 22 the wittness goes on to say
I have video footage of this which can be accessed on my YouTube page (link below). I was sat watching with a friend on a bench and witnessed the entire thing. We then also saw a military aircraft with lights off only visible by the flame do two fly overs over the area after looping around over the town. I presume this was scouting as it was a lone aircraft with lights off so is unlikely to be involved in any kind of exercise. I have spoken to 4 people who have seen this incident. I was unfortunately only able to capture a small portion of footage as i was performing a photo-shoot on the beach and my batteries were nearly dead

Huge Fast moving lights on the Wolds 2.3.12
Two workers at a location on staxton wold reported seeing too very large white lights moving at an incredible speed. They say the size of the lights was huge [as big as a transit van in the sky] There words not mine i have to add.
The time of the sighting would have been about 8pm in the evening on the 2nd of march 2012.
during the day they had seen 2 euro fighters being put through there paces over the location they were workingat.
I will not go into detail about the exact location but will say that the fighter planes were working right above them. Passing over low then going up almost vertical.
The relevance of this is thatthe objects observed on the 2nd of marchwere much faster than the euro fighters. In fact he said four times as fast.
From where they were working they worked out that the location was above the valley between Octon and cottom. This on its own is of significance to me as this area iswhere we have been observing the wolds ufos now for over 5 years.
This valley is where a man reported some years ago seeing around silverobject on the ground or just above itwith beings stood around it. He saw this whist on his way to work early in the morning. To this day he still cannot understand why he did not stop to get a better view of the object and the odd looking beings that accompanied it.
They say that the two large white lights were on top of each other, then the lower one would move to the side and do a loop over the top one back to its original position. Then the top one would go up vertically from standing still to out of sight in a second. That's why they knew it was nothing to do with any knowaircraft [euro fighter] The objects remained active for at least 20 minuets whilst the two men watched.
I had to laugh becauseone of them said how alien man would very very excited about this, Alien man i am told is my name he he.
There ismore to this sighting and the area/location but until i gain the trust of the people involved i can only offer this small peace of the puzzle. I hope some of them may read this and share a little of what has been seen.

RED objectBridlington 20.2.12
This triangle of red lights was seen from the garden of Blackburn avenue bridlington. The object was quite a distance away but still very interesting to watch as it crossed the sky. The lights never broke formation and i could here no sound. Time about 6.15 object travelling east to west.
WELL lets take another look
Since posting that i belived i had found out what the object in the above pic was i have been contacted bye an aircraft engineer and this is what they have to say.
Paul. I,ve been around aircraft all my working life, particularly light aircraft, microlights and hanggliders, which were my passion as well as my work, and this doesnt look right. It cant be a microlight or powered hangglider because it is flying at night and has lights. It appears to be travelling at light aircraft speed, but the nav lights are wrong. As it passes by you should see a steady white tail light, and the left wing light though red, is too large. The right side light should be a steady grean, but would not be visible from this perspective. The red flashing light appears to be the same size as the steady red light, which it would not be if it were an anti collision beacon, and its in the wrong place anyway. As it nears the end of the shot, it appears to turn relative to the direction of flight,starting to fly skewed sideways, and another light comes into view. By the time it disappears from shot it reminds me of a rear view of something like the star ship enterprise! Very odd. I have shown the film to three other aircraft enginers on shift with me tonight, and they dont know what to make of it either. It would be interesting to have the video analised to see if some more detail can be pulled out. I will show it to some more aeroplane people and see if any more ideas come up. Silver pencil like object seen between too aircraft saturday 14.1.12
Whist driving to Scarborough at around 12.30am in the back of my son in-laws car i found myself watching too large commercial aircraft flying parallel to the car. It was a bright sunny day and each plane leftwhite trails of vapour on the clear blue background of the sky. I had been watching them for a few minuets when i realised that between the too planes was a thin sliver stick like object. I was fascinated, it left no trail and was flying at the same height and speed.
I had some ten minutes to observe this and even asked my daughter to look at the planes and tell me what she could see. At first she could not see the silver pencil but once i pointed it out it was very clear and apparent.
With this subject more than any other knowone can ever be ready no matter how much thought and effort we put into trying to be.
I just wish i had a camera to have taken footage or pictures of them.
Plane UFO you decide 19.11.11
This object or objects were filmed over bridlington at 7.15 pm they flashed a purple white light and seemed to jump about in the sky. I am used to filming the Wolds objects at night and can usually zoom in and hold the object in the view finder. The strange thing about this was that everytime i zoomed in the object had jumped to another part of the sky.
Article reads With good intent
That's what it says in the Bridlington free press this week. It seems coast guard search and rescue were called out at approximately 10pm on the second of November to investigate a mystery light that was seen half way down the cliffs near the south side of north landing. The search involved too teamsof men and despite an extensive search nothing was found.
Why am i posting this on a ufo site you may ask? well Flambrough cliffs range from 100 to 300 feet so i feel that a light of this nature seen in such a place in November is of interest.

Did Sky watch on wolds 22.6.11 saw nothing. But have to say the place/area seems to have lost a little ofthe vibe that we experianced before. We have had a few reports oflight forms seen aroundgarton on the wolds and welcome info on this and the surrounding areas. Cottam and Langtoft seem to bevery quite at the moment.

Below is the short email
The height seemed to be aeroplane height ie 30-40000 feet but there was absolutely no sound.
There appeared to be a shaft of light (like a spot light) coming from it.
Yes, Hotham, East Yorkshire..flight was west to east.
The most striking thing was the speed with which it travelled through the sky, was definitely NOT your average aircraft. Also the movements were very sudden and very erratic..it almost zigzagged at times.
I need more information on the Lewis sighting, if your reading this phone again ?

which came first TRUTH OR PROOF
When people see the unexplainableand experience an experience ahead ofour understanding.Phenomena soout of reach it isbeyond our mental and visual grasp then they only have a few choices. They remain puzzled/confused and place the experience to the back of there minds. That's part of the ingrained mind set.
The place where all our dark unwanted secrets are stored, the ones recalled under stress embarrassment or exposure. The trained sceptic / debunker knows how this process works and playsthe ridicule card on the witness. In most cases it works and the experience is pushed so far out of reach that in the end they will not even talk about it. Giving the sceptic free rein to cultivate his own ideas and maybe publish a book, but they are not in this for the money?
Or we evolve into the sceptic and look for answers of an earthly understanding and go down the path of throwing forward theories and then over time letting them settle as fact. We have role models in the ufo community who do this in a loud brash way. The men and women who stand in front of an audiencethrowing out cheap shots at the real investigative talent, the people who fit everything into the parameters of science and human understanding. In some instances their conclusions are accepted as fact for many years.
The sad truth is that these people get a voice because their stagnant thinking is where the public at large are at right now.
Proof ishere and most people touch it in some way during a lifetime, that rare happening that puzzles then gets placed in the dark part of the mind because know one has the capacity to fullygrasp it. The sceptic/debunker denies its existence because like the rest of us they do not understand it. This is the great stumbling block and the reason many of their theories and ideas are so readily accepted. It isoverwhelmingandpotenially life changing but we are unprepared andunaccepting of its entrance into our life. The person who experiences the phenomena knows this butthe capacity to understand and explainthe experience / phenomena is not present at this time.
A shift in this way of understanding will need an avalanche of truth to hit us square between the eyes. But it will only need to happen once and the sceptics who stand like modern day false profits will be exposed for what they really are.
I have no way of putting forwards the things i have seen on the Yorkshire Wolds other than trying to film them. They are lights that seem to have an intelligence and an awareness of me. If i tell people about the sightings they see them in there minds eye as man made objects or some rare earth phenomena. The sceptic coughs up his well chewed cud of a theorythat fits into the world we know and understand and bingo it becomes the truth.The wolds light formsare none of these buti do not have the knowledge to explain them [i mean knowledge and not vocabulary]and you the reader would not understand itif i did.

The East yorkshire Sightings
I have been give the opportunity to film objects on the outskirts of east yorkshire that are definitely out of range of any tangible explanation at this point in time. If an earthly explanation can be found we want to here it. If i am honest i never thought i would get the chance to see things like this with such regularity, i realize that others reading this may think that its all over the top. Let me assure you that these sightings are on going. We don't need no armchair expert who buries his head in archives looking for answers. This is happening now not in the past. The future of this subject and it,s acceptance into the public eye must be focused on the present. This is where the public at large are at right now. They have little interest in historic ufo cases. The objects have no regularity and seem able to appear in different parts of the sky when ever they choose. I have waited hours on some occasions to view them. Then moved to another area half a mile or so away and they have appeared in the place i have previously been. THE IMS Factor and the Langtoft UFO
If you cannot eat it, cannot touch it cannot smell it, cannot see it. It dose not exist. Or dose it? when it come to the subject of ufos our rules do not apply. No proof concrete can be foundthat fits into science. But ufos seem to tap into the unknown inside our heads, the place science and all its high brow superiority cannot understand. How many times do people see things then question what they have seen to the point of convincing themselves it was something less exotic. This i call the IMS the ingrained mind set that is inside us all.
I listened to a man tell me about his sighting at a place called Langtoft on the East yorkshire wolds. He told me how he saw an oval silver object a few feet off the ground in a valley. He then went on to say how he could see strange little men outside the object.
Now to me this would be something incredible. Not so with the man who saw this, he wants no part of it to be linked back to him in any way. I respect his wishes but struggle to understand why when he knows 100% what he saw was real. We do nothave the words or the knowledge to understand why the vast majority of the population behave like the ostrich in the face this incredible truth.
It has to be said that if his name and the high position of work that he holds were put into print that the people who know him would gather and ridicule. Why? why do we shoal like fish clinging to a notion that the witnesses to UFOencounters are all wrong? The door is open and the platform is set for the sceptic/debunkerto treat the ufo witness like a fool.
Not all sightings are the real thing, many times i have stated that it is indeed only a very small percentage.
But from that small percentage we have to ask what are they. What is it that we are seeing with increasing regularity in our skies? Well, for now all we can do is speculate, but they do exist. You cannot film something that dose not exist. People do not see things like the Langtoft ufo and its occupants if they don't exist.
For now the major sticking point is our own reluctance to accept there existence.
THE LANGTOFT UFO
I have know about this sighting now for over 4 years and have spoken the witness on a few occasions about it in that time. He is a reluctant witness, the sighting report only cameout in a totallyunconnected conversation about the area.
The sighting took place 8 years ago as ....... drove to work early in the morning. It was summer time and in daylight hours. The location was a deep natural valley that runs between Sledmere andOcton. On the B1253road
He says that while driving down the that road he looked down into the valley and could clearly see the object and its occupants. This was not a fleeting 2 second sighting but a solid observation. Anyone familiar with the valley will know that it takes a few minute to pass and is clear of trees and tall vegetation. He is not sure if the object was sat on the ground or a few feet above. He also finds it hard to understand why he did not stop to observe them. This i think is the part of his sighting that confuses him the most. This is the IMS factor coming into play.
The ingrained mind set within us all that refuses to believe the truth we are experiencing even when our own eyes are taking in the information.

Sighting filmed18.9.10. This is amazing, can you explain this? We have this object on film as it passed over Bridlington town.These images below are from footage i managed to capture over bridlington. I am still unsure what to do with this. As readers may be aware my son in law luke filmed something at Osgodby near Scarborough in November of last year. If i had placed it on the net it would have received amixed response and all control of the footage would have been lost.Luke chose the route of the national news papers. The response was the same but he received an incentive for his efforts. I see nothing wrong with that.
ILFUFO has been offered a substantial amount for this footage and declined.

The image below was taken over flambrough head in 1994, at least that is what i am told. I hope to find out more about this and the other Flambrough sightings in due course.I think the two fighters are F11s and the trianglelooks to be refuelling.
Information about the SX894 Lightning that went down in 197010 miles off Flambrough head is still on going. It seems the more i dig the darker it gets. I spoke at length to the late Tony Dodd about the case. I told him about the new information but he felt it was not worth the risk. His advice was to let it go?

ILFUFO was created after an encounter with a UFO. That was August 2002. Without pictures or any other solid evidence this sighting means very little to the average reader. But like with so many other UFO sightings it was and is a very personal thing. So much so that ILF was born. An interesting point about this sighting was the account from acouple who contacted the Bridlington free press the following week. This is what they had to say.
A COUPLE claim to have seen a UFO at the exact spot that another Free Press reader spotted one - only 12 years ago. This was in the paper aweek later
In August, the Free Press reported that Paul Sinclair of Bridlington saw a white glowing object hovering above a field near Sledmere on the B1253 Sledmere to Bridlington road, which suddenly disappeared.
Since then, John Smith has written to the Free Press to say he and his wife saw a similar object on the same stretch of road in the summer of 1990 during a car journey to Bridlington.
Mr Smith, of Heber Street, Goole, said: "As we travelled along I noticed a flash of silver in the sky above the car and told my wife to look at the glider.
"I then immediately said 'no it's not a glider, I don't know what it is'."
Mr Smith said he stopped the car, got out and saw a large silver disc in a field, hovering above some trees.
He said: "There was no sound whatsoever and after a minute or so it just disappeared, not appearing to move from its position, more as if a curtain had been drawn round it.
"Although this was 12 years ago, your recent story is an identical sighting."
INTELLIGENT LIGHT FORMS
Too many people have there heads lodged firmly in the box, main stream ideas do not fit into this subject. Throw away the rules because if you cannot the rules will restrain any chance of seeing.
In many instances even after seeing believing is not possible, sounds crazy. Its true.
They say that seeing is believing, this is not the case with ufos. You have to believe to see. Science would confuse that last statement, wanting people to believe that everything i see i interpret as a space ship. Nothing could be further from the truth. The objects we have been privileged to view on the east yorkshire wolds are here. Not in deep space, not light years away they are here observing us trying to observe them.
I am not here to convert anyone and dont have a problem if my thoughts and experiences are not accepted.
For the past two years now we have been studying objects on the East Yorkshire wolds. The wolds UFOs are a very real phenomenon we have managed to film them on numerous occasions and for want of a better word they are INTELLIGENT LIGHT FORMS in the truest sense of the word. Looking for these elusive objects takes time and dedication. Me and my good friend Steve Ashbrige have spent many hours hoping for a glimpse, more often than not we return back to Bridlington having seen nothing. However the few times that we have seen them make upfor it many times over.

ILFUFO through the eyes of Steve
The purpose of ILF-UFO is about trying to understand the strange phenomanon going on a practically daily basis, not just in our region but all around the world. The skies are full of lights, objects and natural occurances that look strange, weird or just plain unexplainable. However ILF is not about sensationalising these things or attributing all of these things to unearthly visitations. Not everything in the sky is a "UFO" or of extra terrrestrial origin and we know this. There are people out there who think anything remotely strange seen in the sky or caught on camera is the work of "Aliens", for instance a fairly obvious example of a garden solar lamp being called "one of the best examples of UFO evidence ever." Quite honestly publicity like that does not do the world of ufology any good at all. All it succeeds in doing is fuelling the minds of the skeptics and gives creedence to their argument.
At ILF-UFO years of study has gone into determining the difference between what can be clearly identified as earthly lights, ie helicopters, aeroplanes, balloons, chinese lanterns and flares etc., and differentiating them from the objects that are clearly none of these. All ofthe examples either filmed, photographedor documented on ILF-UFO do not fit the mould of known objects in our opinion and therefore come under the heading Intelligent Light Forms. This again does not necessarily mean they are from another world but could purely be the work of something more ordinary such as classified military projects.
Over the years ILF has filmed many objects in the skies, particularly over the Yorkshire Wolds which seems to have been a rich source of strange phenomanon. Interestingly after a lot of these sightings it is not unusual to see military aircraft arrive in the vicinty of the lights as if investigating or perhaps even trying to make it seem as though what has been seen is in fact ordinary military manouvres. On two separate occasions we have been harassed by military helicopters one of which landed in an adjascent field. This means someone is interested in what we are doing and adds to the mystery.
Feel free to get in touch with your theories, stories or experiences, maybe someone knows what it is going on out there. Whether a skeptic or believer all opinions are welcome however from experience i would urge you not to dismiss everything you see as an "aeroplane" or "meteorite" as quite clearly this is not always the case.
