Skeptics in denial

I have been looking at arguments for and against the best cases for the UFO Hypothesis,

To me it is clear that the 'skeptics' are actually practicing a form of denial. It is also clear that the believers for want of a better word are actually engaging in proper debate.

The skeptics are in denial and there way of thinking involves selectively choosing evidence that conforms to a certain way of thinking, There belief system dose not allow or entertain the remote possibility that ufos are real.

The believer lets the evidence dictate there beliefs, and to say no evidence exists is to walk around with your eyes and mind closed.

The none believing skeptic will talk about some piece of evidence not being correct and build a case against based on that while ignoring the rest of the evidence. This part is then presented to main stream and over emphasized thus totally disregarding the rest of the information. Not forgetting the key wittiness to the event who are usually told they have made a mistake, or seen a rare but not unusual phenomena. A sweeping statement that covers many things but details none.

How is it possible for someone to simply ignore evidence? when embarking on an investigation.

Well i think.some people have very strong beliefs about how things should be, and will do anything to defend those beliefs. To the extent that if a ufo is seen even by multiple witnesses, it leaves radar traces and no plausible explanation can be found. Then an even more ridiculous must be created. Swamp gas, ball lightning. Meteors and many more can be applied to white wash the witness and suppress and side step the witness account.

The more i look into the rabbit hole the more i realise that skeptics are not skeptics at all.

They are far removed from the careful critical thinking of true skeptics. What they are doing is actually practicing a form of denial. Minds made up, my truth is the only truth attitude. And they bend there truth to fit and sit where main stream feels comfortable.

Another very real problem connected to ufos and the inability to grasp understanding that is still out of the realms of our understanding is the tendency for investigators to disregard credible wittiness due to what is considered "paranormal" effects. These include feelings of some kind of telepathic communication, Time shifts or even the feelings of a reality distortion often associated with the event.

I think this comes about due to the ingrained belief that the investigator has created. The belief that all things have to work within the laws of our know science. The notion that all UFOs are solid and if we were to hit them within a hammer they would make a sound much like we would here if we hit an aircraft. What if ufos are none of that and all of that.

Defining proof

Now this is the hard one when sorting out the wheat from the chaff in ufo reports. But one thing stands out in reports that have stood the test of time. You all know the ones im talking about, the sightings that the sceptic debunker struggles to get a grip on. That's when they begin stating the facts as they see them and proof as they perceive it. When in fact it is just more speculation. Swamp gas, ball lightning, rare atmospherics phenomena, the list is endless but we could throw the odd flying lighthouse in there as well. An extremely rare set of circumstances that put together created this sighting. The list goes on and on but do we ever stop to analyse the conclusions of these self created experts. If we did we would conclude that in many cases there explanations are more ridiculous than the real first hand witness account.

In 1948 Dr. J. Allen Hynek, a self-proclaimed sceptic, joined Project Blue Book as a scientific adviser. By 1969 when Blue Book was shutdown Hynek did an about face. He wrote several books, particularly, "The Hynek UFO Report" which repeatedly stated that the attitude of Blue Book was, "it can't be therefore it isn't." So it is now 2011 and Nothing has changed

What I am saying to none believers is do your scientific and mathematical research, follow the paper trail. It is a trail that i know lead a person in circles seeking the truth. Math and science are evolving all the time. What people said was not possible 20 years ago is now possible.

Go out there and find proof.. You want to see pictures? You already seen them.. You want high ranking military and science personal telling you what you want to know they did it.. How much more proof do you want/need?
July 13 - 29th of 1952, over the skies of Washington DC, numerous UFOs were seen by observers on the ground, in the air, & tracked on radar. The situation escalated & General Samford, the Director of Intelligence of the USAF, held an emergency press conference. When asked by a reporters what people were seeing he suggested the lights on the ground may have looked like they were in the air because inversions act like an "air lens" & bend light rays. He added that something similar could have "tricked" radar in to thinking it was tracking aerial targets. Another set of circumstances put together to give an explanation [He suggested the lights on the ground may have looked like]

The explanation put forwards by the General was opinion and speculation but it served as an answer to the public.

I cannot come to a conclusion and say what they are but the evidence and witness testimony for me at least tip the balance in favour of true unknowns. Be it from another part of space or from another dimension.

To try and explain ufos away as rare weather phenomena or simple misinterpretations is in many cases an insult to the witness.

These explanations put out by the sceptics / debunkers are however a fantastic way of solving the unsolvable. Due to the fact that explanations like [simple aerial/weather phenomena] can be no more proved or disproved they just sit better with the public mind set.

Why the keen interest in the putting down of ufo sightings at any cost.. It seems that no matter how credible the witness is or how much evidence is gathered this breed of onion skinned debunkers simply move the goal posts.

It is a clever organised game they play. But make no mistake they are only puppets and we all know how a puppet works.

They find a chip in the sighting that could with careful wording and much thought undermine its credibility.

Then in many cases push the idea into the media as though it is cast iron proof.

We read lots of examples from sceptics who claim the declassification of ufo files proves that there was nothing to hide. Well, why keep them classified in the first place? We only have the MoD's word that all files have been released. Who is to say that there are not hundreds if not thousands that do offer proof concrete.

You see it is as easy for me to say this with no proof as it is for the puppet sceptic to mushroom up his stupid offerings.

Objects have been tracked on radar,

objects have been observed from the ground and from the air.

Objects have been seen on many occasions by multiple witnesses.

Why classify something of no importance.

Why ridicule police officers and pilots for coming forwards with reports of UFO sightings.

Set up a trained body of independent experts from all fields to study these reports. Instead of allowing this group of over inflated individuals who's only reason for researching the reports is to find an explanation of there own creation that places the ufo into a category that main stream will accept.

Set up a group to research this groups evidence and weigh it against the ufo sightings they have discredited.

UFOs are so far away from the field of human science that science simply cannot understand it. Some things simply cannot be explained. Just because something dose not appear to work within the laws of human understanding dose not mean it cannot be. It is the narrow minded stupidity of these so called experts that dose more harm than good. It must be frustrating [to the debunker/sceptic] to read a ufo report that has credible witnesses to the sighting not to be able to pidgin hole it into some easy explained box. You know who you are.

The future of ufo proof rests on the shoulders of lesser men than media giants. Those who have not seen the light are often blinded by the truth.

ILF receives a number of emails each week from people who claim to have had contact with, or had some life changing experience with things that don't fit into any form of human understanding.

Many of them are searching for answers. And all of them have questions, but no real place to voice them for fear of being considered crazy.

What you the reader has to ask is.

1/ What dose any one have to gain from creating such a story .....Nothing

2/ These experiences are happing to people from all walks of life

3/ Most people who have them say nothing for fear of ridicule

4/ Science dismisses things that don't fit into boxes and categorizes people as liars or just plain delusional. Scientific minds fear what they cannot understand.

5/If these people stood in a witness box and told a jury what they had seen and experience it would be considered as evidence. I realize evidence dose not necessarily mean proof. But consider if you can the thousands of people who have experienced these things. People from all walks of life. People with different beliefs, different cultures. Different religions and intellect. Can they all be wrong

Can any of you reading this write to ILF and explain what a UFO expert is please

Expert in what exactly? how can we use such a word about a subject that is so elusive.

I have read lots about how much research this person or that persons dose.

Is this what makes an expert.

Or could it be someone who has actually seen these things first hand.

Or is it simply none of the above as this subject is way above our understanding.

One way or another i have been involved in this subject over 30 years and have never read about,or spoken to an "expert" or researcher who has an answerer.

I suppose all of us involved in the subject have been touched in some way by the truth. Yet the proof still remains out of reach. Research, that magic word dose not unearth anything concrete. Yet followers of the magic word use it as though it were a bible of sorts. That you have to adhere to in order to be on the same level. When in truth we are all about as green asgrass.

I saw a ufo at Sledmere with another witness, it was huge and glowing white on a bright sunny day. But that's not the kind of proof required, i understand this and can only document it for others to read until such times as Proof concrete/unshakable can be presented.

Skeptics. Your task is to prove to me that what i have seen dose not exist.

Your never ending search to be right means nothing to people who have seen the truth with there own eyes. No amount of "research" can sway a person from what they have seen

I guess its hard for a skeptic to accept anything that is offered as ufo proof when there job is to disprove anything at any cost. Even if it is more tangible than the explanations they offer in some cases.

The rendelsham forest sighting. A flying lighthouse. I mean really?this guy has taken bend the truth to fit a theory to another level.

The Berwin mountains incident Poachers. In this case the researcher speaks to the witnesses who state they saw a large egg shaped object on the mountain side. This is interpreted by the skeptic as poachers lights.

Who saw the object, the skeptic or the witness who is relaying what was seen.
