- This object is we think the same one as the red wolds. It is silent and seems at appear out of thin air. The footage was taken without trypod. Steve was telling me as i filmed that the object was moving from side to side. It was all i could do to hold the cam still in the freezing cold.

- Many suggestions have been put forwards as to what these objects could be, insects being the main. This may well be the case but until we know for sure rods will remain an interesting phenomena. What i find strange is that although rods are to be found on film footage. They are not there in the vast quantities that you would expect on main stream TV. I have looked at wild life footage from the florida everglades, the place is teeming with insect life yet i saw no evidence of rods? i filmed 30 mins of footage over a pond on a hot summer day. Dragon flies and all manner of winged insects were flying around but no rods? these were filmed 100yards from Bridlington sea front.

I filmed this object moving above Lansdown road in July 2006
It has subsequently been used many times to publicise UFO events on TV. Not the best quality footage but the content is outstanding.

- Many explanations have been put forward as to what this object is. From chines lanterns to an approaching aircraft. To the burner from a hot air balloon. It is however none of those. This object could appear and reappear at will. A true ILF
Many of the clips of footage that i have filmed are from around the wolds. Most are much longer than what you are viewing. No doubt in time i will upload most in full. I have no idea where these objects come from, i suspect they have been here for a very long time. The objects are amazing to see, and i have to say they do seem to have an awareness. Many times we have observed for hours and seen nothing only to be rewarded as the camera is being packed away.
We are not the only people to have seen them. I have had conversations with the farmers in these remote parts. What some of them have to say would make better reading than anything we have seen so far.
